Driving day...Big Sky!

Helena, MT

Saturday, we spent the day driving from Banff back to Helena. On our way, we were able to stop by Gord and Annie's home in Calgary one more time. We enjoyed a nice lunch of hamburgers on the grill on their deck, and just some nice quiet time to visit with them. Again, we said our good-byes, and bid adieu to Canada.

We crossed the border near Lethbridge this time, and had no border crossing delays. There was some amazing landscape as we drove down Hwy. 15 in Montana. Near sundown, we couldn't help but make a comment about how Montana is "Big Sky" country. The sky was not only "big," it was HUGE! And absolutely gorgeous!

We had a Mexican dinner at "On the Border," and headed to bed early. Our plane was to leave early the next morning, and we had to be up and at the airport around 4:00 a.m.
