The Minnesota Rockies!

This morning, after getting our fishing license, we headed out for our first fishing trip of the year. Tom drove the boat, and fishing were Seth, me, and at the last minute my nephew William decided to join us. We headed over to the Potato Island area, where we managed to catch 16 fish (14 rock bass or "Rockies" and 2 perch). We had a good time, and the weather was sunny and calm, which added to our enjoyment.

In the afternoon, while Tom cleaned fish, the kids swam and went tubing again. I enjoyed my book for awhile, and some more visiting with my cousin Deb. We ate a quick supper before heading out to fish again, this time with the two girls (Chloe & Leah). Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck this evening, and only managed to keep one perch that Chloe caught. Chloe was anxious to get home from fishing as she and Elise will be "sleeping over" at Grandpa and Grandma's cabin tonight next door at the Sah-kah-tay resort.
