After a nice breakfast at our hotel, we loaded everybody up and headed over to the Mall of America. We started our day there around 10:30, and after lots of shopping, finding good deals, a few rides in the amusement park, we were finally tired out and ready to hit the road at 5:45. We called Tony at Birch Villa to let him know we would be arriving late. We made a supper stop along the way at Culvers, and arrived in Cass Lake at 10:45 (Trip time: 5 hours; Total trip time: 16:15). We stopped at Teal's Market to get enough food to get us through Sunday’s breakfast and headed over to our cabin. It was fun checking out all the new amenities! No more bunk beds…now 4 twin beds instead (although the queens/twins room swap threw us off a bit!). New in the kitchen were a crock pot, a mixer, new toaster and coffee maker, and matching dishes and pots and pans! Nice! We unpacked the car and settled in.
