The forecast said it would still be raining in the morning, but we woke to find a cloudy, windy, but dry day. Since our luck was good at Pike Bay yesterday, we decided not to push it anywhere else. Although a bit slower than yesterday, we still did all right, with 14 fish…rock bass and perch (7 of each).

The afternoon included a nice, 24-mile bike ride for Tom and me to Walker. Seth and Maddie visited ForestEdge Winery and then also went to Walker for a bit of shopping. Leah and Chloe drove down as well, and we all met up at Reed’s to get some fishing supplies, and then drove to the Lucky Moose for supper. Although we thought the menu was over-priced, the food did not disappoint.

We arrived back at the resort in time to hang out with friends. I had my yearly visit with Christie M who will be leaving in the morning. We both promised next year we will have our chat no later than Thursday! It’s hard to believe our first week is in the books already!
