So it's Friday, and that means our first week is almost over. This has been one of the nicest weather-weeks we've had here in a long time. Today it was warm again, however it was a bit more overcast. Even though it was a windy again this morning, we headed over to Pike Bay. Seth and Maddie wanted to come along. We soon found out that Pike Bay was just too choppy to fish on, as we'd quickly drift over our spot, and then have to boat back up through big waves and whitecaps, getting drenched each time. After catching about 5 fish, we moved over to Star Island, and ended our day with a total of 15 fish...14 perch and 1 rock bass. Not a bad catch for a morning. The most interesting catch of the day was the old baseball cap Seth pulled off the bottom of the lake...that was a first!

After a typical afternoon we all headed down to Walker for a quick hour of shopping and to pick up some more fishing tackle. From there we headed over to Zhateau Zorbaz, another annual tradition. We enjoyed the Mexican, the Barbecued Chicken, and a typical Pepperoni pizza. We found out that 3 mediums for our family was more than enough, as we took about one pizza home in leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We alwayz enjoy reading the Zorbaz menu which iz az entertaining az it iz uzeful!
