Vacation Day Schedule: 9:00- Wake up, say "hello" to the Lake, start the coffee 10:00- Head out to boat. Drop off minnows at Mom & Dad's boat and almost fall in the lake trying to pass them over. Boat through the channel to Pike Bay. 11:00- Have more coffee. This time with donut. 12:00- Think about heading in. Fish for another hour. 1:00- Head in for lunch. 2:00- Tom- clean fish...count 11 for today. Linda- sit by the lake and visit with cousin Deb. 3:00- Watch kids skiing and tubing, reapply sunblock, visit some more. 4:00- Get cleaned up and head to ForestEdge Winery. 5:00- It's Wine O'Clock! Taste many good wines...buy a few bottles for gifts and to take home. 6:00- Meet Mom & Dad for dinner at the Ranch House Supper Club. This was our first visit here, and we found the atmosphere interesting (covered wagons, salad bar in a bathtub, etc), and the food quite good. 8:00- Arrive back at cabin. Read books, blog, chat with the kids. 11:00- Hit the sack! We've been working so hard, we're exhausted!
