Another day...another fishing trip. Tom, Seth & I headed out to the Potato Islands (where else?) by mid-morning and endured another slow morning of fishing. If it weren't for the sound of the loons & other birds, the warm sunshine and cool breeze, and the eagle sightings (that made my day!), it would have been quite miserable. As it was, even when the fish aren't biting, it's hard to complain about such beauty. And we did end up with 4 rock bass and 2 perch by the early afternoon when we headed home.

The kids spent the afternoon just hanging out at the resort and having a great time with all their cousins. I went shopping in Bemidji with Deb & Wenda. Tom & Seth took the Mi-Gi-Zi trail around Pike Bay. Since Tom had taken an earlier ride as well, he logged a total of over 30 miles biking today. Everyone was hungry by the time we sat down for our late supper of "Cass Lake Santa Fe Chicken"...Yum!
